2025-26 SP Authentic Hockey means the long-standing product is creeping one step closer to its 30th anniversary.

Anchored by the popular Future Watch rookie cards, SP Authentic carries one of the most prestigious lineages in the hockey card industry – if not the entire sports card industry as a whole.

Collectors can expect the same configurations as in years past in the 29th edition of the product, with one Future Watch Autograph and an additional autograph in every hobby box.

2025-26 SP Authentic Hockey Checklist Overview

Keeping with tradition, the base checklist includes 200 cards – 100 veterans and 100 Future Watch rookies.

Veteran parallels also align with years past, again falling under the Limited moniker:

• Red (1:2 packs)
• Gold (/99)
• Black (1/1)

Select veterans also have Limited Autograph versions (1:60 packs), and there are four tiers of Limited Materials Autographs numbered to either /100, /50, /25, or /10.

Future Watch rookie cards are all numbered to /999, and most of them will be autographed.

The Limited parallels go an extra mile in the Future Watch segment, though none of these cards are signed.

Future Watch cards don’t stop there, as Auto Patches (/100), Horizontal Autographs (/599 or /199), and Vertical Auto Patches (/50 or /25) are also in play.

Additional Autographs and Inserts

Staying true to the product’s history, Sign Of The Times autographs also return. Base versions are seeded 1:32 packs, and the checklist gets rarer as more players add their signature.

Sign Of The Times Rookies have their own checklist, but these cards are tough to find at 1:864 packs.

Chirography is another long-time concept that returns (1:160 packs), and other autographs include UD Authentics (1:60), Pageantry Autographs (1:60), new Color Palette Autographs (1:120), Authentic Moments (1:480), Curated Signatures (Varied numbering), 4 Nations Faceoff Signatures (/25), and Immortal Ink (/10).

UD Authentics cards also have two tiers of Autographed Patches (/49 and /25).

As for inserts, collectors can expect to find one in every pack, including four Pageantry inserts per box. Additionally, collectors will commonly find Freshman Focus (1:3), Collaborations (1:5), and Outliers (1:5) inserts, which each have Blue and Green parallels.

Tougher finds include: Holofoils and Legends Holofoils (each 1:160 packs) and Future Icons (/399).

2025-26 SP Authentic Hockey Bounty Program

For collectors looking for the ultimate test when it comes to SP Authentic, Upper Deck has again included a Bounty Challenge within the product.

Collectors will find Spectrum FX inserts throughout the product. The checklist runs 91 cards and is broken into four segments:

• Veterans (1:10 packs)
• Future Watch – Level 1 (1:20)
• Future Watch – Level 2 (1:42)
• Future Watch – Level 3 (1:160)

Collectors who complete the entire 91-card set have the chance to win additional bounty prizes from Upper Deck. Once a complete set is registered at UpperDeckBounty.com, collectors are eligible to receive a nine-card Spectrum FX Bounty Award set that makes the Spectrum insert an even 100 cards.

The first 50 collectors to register their sets, however, also receive the other 91 cards in Gold Spectrum (/50) and a surprise bonus.
