2024-25 O-Pee-Chee Hockey keeps things simple, offering something for those who enjoy a little old-school set building. A large single-series base set highlights the checklist. And while the look and feel is largely old-school, there are still some chase elements that appeal to more modern collecting sensibilities as well.

2024-25 O-Pee-Chee Hockey Checklist Overview

The designs and players are new and updated but the build of the base set will feel very similar to those who have been building modern O-Pee-Chee sets. It has 600 total cards. Of those, the final 100 are a mix of All-Stars and Marquee Rookies that combine to land one per hobby pack. That makes them short prints but only modestly so.

Blue Border – 1:3 packs
Yellow Border – 1:1 blaster packs
Red Border – 1:18 packs
Orange Border – /25
Printing Plates – 1/1

Exclusive to hobby packs, All-Stars and Marquee Rookies also have:

Rainbow Foil – /350
Black Rainbow Foil – /100
Green Rainbow Foil – /33
Gold Rainbow Foil – 1/1

All 600 cards also have Retro versions, which are one per pack. Rather than simply changing some colors around or the type of material they’re printed on, Retro cards get an entirely different design. These have their own Black Border (/100) and Printing Plates as well, both of which are exclusive to hobby. Other inserts are largely returning themes. O-Pee-Chee Playing Cards encourage collectors to building a deck. Depending on the number, odds vary. However, they all combine to fall four per hobby box. O-Pee-Chee Premier brings back the premium brand once again as a series of inserts. Standard versions are 1:6 hobby packs with hobby-only Diamond Rainbow Foilboard parallels numbered to 75. For those who chase manufactured patches, there are two styles, First Round Draft Locations (1:192 packs) and Team Logo Update (1:576 packs). On the scarce side, there are 3-D Marquee Rookies, which are 1:864 hobby packs. These aren’t available in retail. The Top Rookie Puzzle Bounty (1:96 hobby packs) encourage collectors to build the full nine-card puzzle. Those that do can register the codes to receive three exclusive Bounty cards not available in packs.
