The 2022-23 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey checklist adds 200 veterans and 50 Young Guns (1:4 packs) to the base set numbering. Unlike Series 1, fans can find Young Guns cards for rookies debuting during the 2022-23 season.

2022-23 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey Inserts

Featuring continuations and debuts, the insert lineup for 2022-23 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey is extensive. Building on Series 1, look for the next group of Dazzlers, Honor Roll and UD Portraits Rookies and the familiar Day With The Cup (1:2,500 packs) cards. As for the new choices, Calder Candidates (1:37 packs) showcases top rookies, Greetings From (1:15 packs) pays tribute to the team’s city or state, and Lunch Box Legends (30 cards; 1:16 packs) opts for a ’70s style to celebrate top NHL names.

Even more newness arrives with World Juniors Grads (1:20 packs), celebrating the ’92-93 design, and Instant Impressions (1:24 packs), which is an image-based series. The acetate Highlighters is yet another debuting insert (only offered in Purple Parallel for Retail boxes).
