2020 Panini Select Baseball is back in action as an MLBPA release. Every Hobby box averages two autographs and two relics. Last seen as a standalone baseball product in 2013, the Optichrome set is commonly associated with NFL and NBA cards. However, Select Baseball was more recently part of the multi-brand 2018 Panini Chronicles Baseball.

2020 Panini Select Baseball Base / Inserts

Similar to other Select releases, the 2020 Panini Select Baseball base set is broken into three subsets. There are Base, Premier and Diamond Level tiers and over 250 total cards. A variety of Prizm parallels expand the lineup even more, including Hobby-only Zebra as well as Holo Die-Cut for the Diamond Level. The parallels combine to average nine per Hobby box. Among the possible inserts, Sparks features 10 players that can rally a team to greatness.

2020 Panini Select Baseball Autographs / Relics

As for the hits in the 2020 Panini Select Baseball checklist, they come in twos. More specifically, each Hobby box should have two autographs and two memorabilia cards. The main selection includes Signatures, with Hobby-exclusive Cracked Ice parallels for top MLB stars and prospects, and Rookie Signatures. In addition, Launch Angle Autographs is reserved for the big bats. Auto-relic editions include Rookie Jersey Autographs, Signature Materials and X-Factor Material Signatures cards.
