2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey continues the collecting tradition of the popular Upper Deck NHL cards for another season. Just like 2017-18, every Hobby box averages one Future Watch autograph and one additional autograph.

2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey Base / Inserts

Leading off 2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey, the 100-card base set is joined by Limited Red parallels at 1:6 packs. Many of the base subjects offer Limited Autographs (1:108 packs) and Limited Autograph Patch (#/50 or less) versions. Insert choices include 1999-2000 Retro Draft Picks (1:26 packs), Authentic Moments (1:6 packs) and Rookie Year Milestones (1:7 packs). These combine to average seven per box and come as rare autographs, as well.

There are also flagship NHL updates that pick up from 2018-19 Upper Deck Series 2 Hockey. This includes Update Base (1:7 packs), Young Guns (1:19 packs) and All-Star Highlights (1:45 packs), plus limited Exclusives (#/100) and High Gloss (#/10) parallels. Collectors can expect a total of four update cards per box.

2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey Future Watch Rookies

Of course, the 2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey checklist is filled with first-year stars courtesy of the Future Watch line. The rookie selection consists of Future Watch (#/999), Autographed Future Watch (#/999), Future Watch Auto Patch (#/100 – 1 per inner case), and Future Watch Patch (#/10). The new Future Watch Retro Rookie Auto Patch cards have only 25 copies.

2018-19 SP Authentic Spectrum FX Bounty

Falling at least one per box, Bounty fans should remember the Spectrum FX inserts. Subsets include Veterans (1:18 packs), Future Watch Level 1 (1:36 packs), Future Watch Level 2 (1:90 packs) and Future Watch Level 3 (1:360 packs). The first 50 collectors to build and redeem the 99-card set on the UD Bounty website earn the exclusive #100 card and the complete 100-card Gold parallel set.

2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey Autographs

Already a hobby staple, Sign of the Times sees an expansion in 2018-19 SP Authentic Hockey. The seasoned insert has the expected forms, such as the main Sign of the Times (1:72 packs) and SOTT Rookies (#/99), as well as the multi-player SOTT 2 (#/25), SOTT 3 (#/15), SOTT 4 (#/10), SOTT 6 (#/6), and SOTT 8 (#/5). Going retro, the on-card Sign of the Times Decades insert covers the look, feel and various stars of past eras, including the 1960s (1:1,296 packs), 1970s (1:1,080 packs), 1980s (1:864 packs) and 1990s (1:720 packs). Collectors can also find SPA staples Immortal Ink (#/10) and Marks of Distinction (#/25).
